Den Braven Acryl-W Sealant 280ml

Den Braven Acryl-W is a plastic elastic sealant for interior use, based on acrylic resin emulsion with a good adhesion to many materials.

Paintable with emulsion paints, freeze resistant and not corrosive towards metals.

Conforms to the SNJF-standard.

After curing Acryl-W is weather and rain resistant when painted

Limitations

• Not suitable for continuous exposure to water
• Not suitable for PE, PP, PC, PMMA, PTFE, soft plastics, neoprene and bituminous substrates
• Exterior applications only in good, dry weather, and it must stay dry for al least 5 hours after application

Applications:

• Zwaluw Acryl-W was specifically developed for sealing connection joints between stairs, walls, ceilings, skirtings, windowsills, wooden and metal window frames, concrete and brickwork

Directions Of Use:

• A joint with the correct dimensions is able to absorb movements between building materials
• The joint depth should always be in the correct relationship of the joint width
• A general rule is the ratio of joint depth to the width of a joint width up to 10mm

Surface Preparations and Finishing

• Application temperature +5 to + 40 Degree Celsius
• All substrates must be solid, clean, dry, and free of grease and dust
• Substrates to be cleared of all loose particles
• Absorbent substrates do not need to absolutely dry
• Very porous substrates like: gypsum, airated concrete, limestone, etc. need to be primed with a mixture of 1 part Acryl-W and 2 part water
• Always test adhesion prior to application
• Finish and smooth with water

Paintability

• Zwaluw Acryl-W is paintable when fully dry
• During curing product will show shrinkage, which can cause cracking of paint
• Paintable with water based paints can create cracking
• Recommendation of testing compatibility with paint prior to application
