Den Braven Butylene-X 300ml

Zwaluw Den Braven Butylene-X  is a durable, mastic, easy-to-apply plastic sealant based on polybutylene.

Forms a paintable skin on the surface

Limitations:

• Not suitable for PE, PP, PC, PMMA, PTFE, soft plastics, neoprene and bituminous substrates
• Not suitable for continuous water load

Applications:

• Zwaluw Butylene-X was developed to seal joints that are subject to low movement and no mechanical exposure
• Suitable for interior use as a bedding compound for single glazing

Directions Of Use:

• A well designed joint should have sufficient width to be able to take and absorb the movement of the adjacent building elements
• The joint depth should always be in correct relationship with the joint width
• A general rule of thumb for the ratio of joint depth is 1:1 up to 10mm wide, with a minimum of 5mm in width and depth

Surface Preparations and Finishing:

• Before using the Zwaluw Butylene-X refer to Health & Safety Sheet
• All surfaces must be clean, dry and free of dust, grease and other loose materials
• Adhesion tests prior tp application are recommended
• Apply Zwaluw Butylene-X with a professional caulking gun
