Zwaluw Gasket-Sealant is an acetoxy heat resistant silicone sealant which cures by reacting to moisture to form a durable elastic rubber seal

Benefits:

• Temperature resistance up to 300 Degree Celsius
• In place gasketing applications

Limitations:

• Not suitable for PE, PP, PC, PMMA, PTFE, soft plastics, neoprene and bituminous substrates

Applications:

• Zwaluw Gasket-Sealant was specifically developed as a liquid gasket for sealing oven doors, hotplates, heating systems and joints where high temperature resistance is necessary, for example:  drains, thermostat, pumps, heating pipes and low pressure engine parts

Directions OF Use:

• Minimum 2mm thick per coat

Surface Preparations and Finishing:

• Application temperature: +5 to +40 Degree Celsius
• All substrates must be solid, clean, dry, and free of grease and dust
• Zwaluw Gasket-Sealant adheres perfectly without the use of primer to most non porous substrates, like glass, painted wood, ceramic and enamelled
• Always test adhesion prior to application

Paintability:

• Zwaluw gasket Sealant Red is not paintable
