Zwaluw FP PU Hand Foam

Fire resistant polyurethane foam certified according EN 1366-4

Zwaluw FP PU Foam is a 1-component fire resistant insulation and construction foam developed to make a fire retardant seal between stony construction parts up till 240 minutes

Limitations:

• Not suitable for continuous water immersion  or use in enclosed spaces
• Not suitable for PE, PP, PC, PMMA, PTFE, soft plastics, neoprene and bituminous substrates

Applications:

• Zwaluw FP PU Foam can be used in linear joints, according the EN 1366-4, in walls, ceilings and floor joints
• In general Zwaluw FP PU Foam has an excellent adhesion on concrete, brick, stone, plaster, wood, metal and many plastics like polystyrene foam, rigid PU Foam and uPVC

Directions Of Use:

• Canister temperature:  +5  to +30 Degree Celsius (recommended +15 degree Celsius to +35 degree Celsius)
• When applying in cold conditions allow the canister to reach room temperature before use
• Remove cap and screw the straw onto the valve
• Shake the canister vigorously prior to use, at least 20 times
• To apply foam, turn the canister upside down and press the adaptor
• Half fill the cavity and, in case of low humidity, lightly spray the foam with water
• The foam will expand to fill the rest
• When fixing window frames, use spacers and wedges to hold the frame in place for approximately 24 hours until the foam is fully cured
• Protect eyes and wear gloves and working clothes
• Floor-covering and furniture to be covered with paper or plastic foil
• Joints wider and deeper than 4cm should be filled in multiple layers
• Waiting time between applications 15-30 minutes
• Before each application lightly spray with water
• Only use in well ventilated areas
• Store canister upright between +5 to +25 Degree Celsius

Surface Preparations and Finishing:

• All surfaces must be clean, dry and free of dust, grease and other loose materials
• After curing the surplus of the foam can be removed with a knife or spatula and the foam surface can be finished

Paintability:

• Zwaluw FP PU Foam can be painted or coated with plaster or acrylic sealant

Zwaluw FP PU Hand Foam is packaged in a aerosol canister of 750ml
